Things to do + Badminton Session

  1. Bring along your pencil case, water bottle and poncho for tomorrow's Learning Journey to ACM. You may also bring along some light snacks if you want but if you are bringing any camera, you must take responsibility of it and remember that you cannot use your 'flash' when you are taking any pictures in the museum.
  2. Our school is supporting the NTUC FairPrice Share-A-Textbook Donation Drive 2015. So, I would like to encourage all of you to do the same. If you wish to donate textbooks and story books, you can drop off the books at the collection point outside the School Library. Please only donate books that you no longer need and are in good conditions. You should not donate your Science textbooks as these books will be needed next year. As for Mathematics, it will be good to keep the P5 textbooks as well.
  3. There is also a Creative Writing Competition coming up organised by SOTA. This annual competition is targeted at students with a flair and interest in creative writing. They welcome  students who will be in Primary 6 next year to submit original works based on one of the following prompts
                   i.      Those lazy crazy hazy days
ii.     Then I woke up but it wasn't a dream
iii.    This is what we went through

The top 3 entries stand to win up to $250 in vouchers, and the opportunity to have their work published in SOTA’s annual anthology of writing. Fifty finalists will also be invited to attend a free story-writing workshop at SOTA during the March school holidays in 2016.
If you are interested, please approach me for further details.

Lastly, a few of us had a wonderful badminton session ... and here are the pics...
